Grades 9-12 Christmas Camp

Maryvale is one of the finest training facilities in the Country

This is an excellent opportunity to not only improve your skills but to work with a professional instructional staff that is well respected throughout the Southwest. You can also learn more about opportunities to play at the ‘next level’ as you prepare for the upcoming season. Unlike many of the camps in the area at this time of year, we will play games each afternoon. Phoenix area weather is in the 70’s at this time of year.

Camp is open to all high school age players. Our format will include instructional batting practice and games each day. A must for players from cold weather states. Come with your team or organization or come on your own and will be placed on a team. Players will be grouped by teams and/or skill level for instructional sessions. This is the camp to attend if you are interested in baseball betting and playing in the southwest at the next level.

Camp Schedule

Day One – December 27

8:30 AM – Check in at Maryvale Complex, Field 4
Receive camp t-shirt and finalized camp schedule
9 AM – 12 Noon – Showcase-Pro Scout and College Coaches evaluations
12 Noon – 1 PM – Lunch (on your own – many eateries are within easy walking distance)
1 – 4 PM – Games played on Major League fields

Day Two thru Four – December 28-30

8:30 – 9 AM – Guest speakers – Topics to include recruiting, strength and conditioning, pro draft
9 AM – 12 Noon – Live batting practice, individual and group instruction in all phases of the game
12 Noon – 1 PM – Lunch (on your own – many eateries are within easy walking distance)
1 – 4 PM – Games played on Major League fields

Equipment to Bring

Uniform, bat, glove and any equipment needed to play your specific position (e.g., catcher’s gear)

Cost

Registration fee for the camp is $395. $625 includes five nights lodging. Only paid registrants will have a secured a spot. Payment must be made by December 1, 2006. Fees include instruction, facility usage, equipment, insurance and a camp t-shirt. Enrollment is limited so register early! Arizona Total Baseball now accepts online payments. Camp Hotel

Holiday Inn Phoenix West – 602.484.9009 – 1500 51st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ – Room rate is $69 a night for up to four people in a room. Call the hotel for reservations and mention the camp. There will be coach and adult supervision at the hotel and vans will shuttle players to and from the baseball complex daily for any players needing rides.
